12 Major Scales
Choose a key, then follow the notes and finger numbers for each hand. Play a demonstration or try the keyboard yourself. Each scale goes up one octave and back down.
Practice page: choose a scale, then click Download practice page. In the print window, select Save as PDF to download it, or choose your printer.
Finger numbers: 1 = thumb; 2 = index; 3 = middle; 4 = ring; 5 = little finger. The return trip reverses the ascending fingering. R and L on the keyboard mean right and left hand. A circled number marks a finger crossing.
